Information concerning the processing of personal data pursuant to the Personal Data Code (Legislative Decree No. 196/2003, hereinafter the “Code”) and Article 13 of the European Regulation (GDPR 679/2016, hereinafter the “Regulation”) and subsequent national implementing legislation.

Purpose of the service

Bellini n. 1, Bari (BA) 70132, email info@bitsitter.it, as data controller, informs you that this newsletter is intended to update and inform you about news regarding our new proposals, our products and our initiatives, and aims to promote a better knowledge of Bitsitter's products and promotions.

Below you will find a description of the conditions for joining the world of Bitsitter.

Data processed

The email address you provided when establishing the relationship with our company and/or requesting activation of the newsletter service and/or requesting the sending of commercial communications may be used only to provide the requested service and, therefore, to send the newsletter and commercial and advertising information containing informative messages and promotional communications relating to Bitsitter's activities and/or services (e.g. email, newsletter), which will give you information on news relating to our initiatives, our events and Bitsitter's services.

Your data will be stored by the data controller in computer archives and managed with methods and logics functional to sending the newsletter, and at the external provider; they will not be disclosed to third parties or disseminated.

Recipients of the data

Your data may be made accessible, for the purpose for which they were collected, to employees and collaborators of the data controller (including administrators and members) in their capacity as authorised processors, and to third-party companies or other subjects who perform outsourcing activities on behalf of the data controller, in their capacity as external data processors (for example, the company that manages the sending of newsletters). Your data may therefore be processed by personnel authorised to process personal data, communicated to third parties only where necessary to respond to your requests, and will not be disseminated.

Withdrawal of consent

You may stop the sending and receipt of the newsletters at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” option at the bottom of the email. From that moment on you will no longer receive Bitsitter's newsletters and your address will be deleted from the system. You therefore have the right to withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent given before its withdrawal.

Rights of the data subject

You may exercise your rights towards the data controller at any time. Pursuant to Legislative Decree 196/2003 and articles 15 et seq. of EU Reg. 2016/679, you have the right to:

1. obtain confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning you exist, even if not yet recorded, and their communication in an intelligible form;
2. obtain information on the origin of the personal data, the purposes and methods of processing, the logic applied in the case of processing carried out with the aid of electronic instruments, the identification details of the controller and of the processors, and the subjects or categories of subjects to whom the personal data may be communicated;
3. obtain the updating, rectification or, where you have an interest in it, the integration of the data;
4. obtain the erasure of the data in the cases provided for by art. 17 of EU Reg. 2016/679, the transformation into anonymous form or the blocking of data processed unlawfully, including data whose retention is unnecessary for the purposes for which they were collected or subsequently processed;
5. obtain the restriction of processing in the cases provided for by art. 18 of EU Reg. 2016/679;
6. receive the personal data concerning you in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, and the right to transmit them to another controller;
7. object, in whole or in part, for reasons connected with your particular situation, to the processing of personal data concerning you, even though relevant to the purpose of the collection;
8. object to the processing of personal data concerning you for direct marketing purposes, for sending advertising material or direct selling, or for market research or commercial communication;
9. lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority.
